Thomas Talks: - Christian woman believes Jesus was a false prophet.
Thomas: Why do you believe Jesus was a false prophet...? Claire: Jesus admits this himself... Thomas: where did you read this...? Claire: in my Christian bible, book of John 4:44, Jesus himself testified that "a prophet has no honour in his own country", obviously referring to himself... Thomas: ok, but why do you consider him false...? Claire: according to the gospels, Jesus prophesied that he would be buried for three days and three nights based on Jonah's three days and three nights in the belly of a whale, read Matthew 12:38-40. But in fact he was only buried for two nights; Friday night and Saturday night and resurrected early Sunday morning. This is found in the books of Luke 23:54-55 and Matthew 28:1 and John 20:1... Thomas: is that really a big deal, he was only one night short...!! Claire: yes it is a big deal. A prophet is a person chosen by the Almighty to communicate His will, so any message or sign that is transmitted needs to be one hundred percent accurate, everything spoken must occur, if not, then the prophet is false. This is already explained in Deuteronomy 18:18-22. Thomas: True... also being the son of G-d he should know better!! (just a thought) Claire: Jesus also said that he would return in his own time period, to his own generation. Thomas: where is that found...?
Claire: several places. Mark 13:7.8,14,19,24,25. his exact words are “ the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky. I will send angels to take the elect from the four corners of the world. 'I tell you the truth, this generation' will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Mark 13:30 also see Matthew 24:34... Thomas: your right, none of this happened in his time... Claire: exactly, so this clearly makes Jesus a false prophet. The Creator does not make mistakes... Thomas: So where does this leave you and your belief...? Claire: I now believe the New Testament is a total shambles and every other chapter contradicts its self. No character in any of the books seems to know what is going on or can validate the same story, so in turn, the followers are lost; it’s truly dreadful and confusing when trying to make any sense of it. I feel so angry and ashamed...? Thomas: why ashamed...? Claire: for over 15 years I have been preaching and testifying Jesus saves, he is the way and the light and if you don't believe in him you go to hell. I now feel so stupid and naive. I don't understand why I never saw this before... Thomas: I can understand how you feel and thank you for sharing your new found understanding... Claire: thanks for listening... Thomas: what will you do now...? Claire: scrap the gospels, de-program my mind. by Daniel Elisha
