There are quite a number of parking lots provided at the surrounding of buildings but they’re always full especially during weekdays. People usually park their car there and take ktm to other places.


Free shuttle bus provided by the government comes approximately every 15 minutes, which is quite convenient for the people there to travel on site.


SHELTERED WALKWAY

Sheltered walk alongside the KTM Station

Covered walkway. This pathway is extended towards the stairs that links to the bridge’s pathway to cross North.

Apart from the existing five foot walkway, an extended paved pedestrian pathway is seen alongside the five foot walkway.

2.5m High sheltered walk alongside Jalan Tengku Kelana

Partial coverage can be seen at part of the two alleys.

Coverage on pedestrian pathways along Little India’s street. Railings are also alternately placed for safety measures.

With its strategic location beside the Klang River, a main connectivity between North and South Klang, making the site permeable.

Insufficient car park spaces that were occupied by majority of the KTM users. The hygiene of the town is being took for granted as accumulation of rubbish and carcasses depicted on the streets. The lack in wayfinding elements to direct visitors, to allow the public to grasps the essence of the town.

The combinations of various functional purposes in the town diversifies the range of visitors, yet needed to be discovered by the public. A rich cultural and historical background that needed to be recognize with proper introduction, impressions and imagery of the town.

The deterioration of heritage elements in the town causes the lost in its identity and sense of place. The traffic conditions has contributed to a parallel movement between local community and visitors, contributing towards the disengaging effect towards the pedestrian.
