OKLAHOMA CITY, BACKWOODS HUNTING SHOW For the Last decade the whitetails of Oklahoma have helped sponsor a youth booth, at the Oklahoma City, backwoods hunting show. This gives opportunity to new and upcoming deer farmers to learn about getting started raising whitetails. This is a great chance to learn about the topic of utilizing the deer farms as a business, to hopefully with a little luck help turn a profit. We collect items all year round to donate to the needy; those in wheelchair, disabled veterans, and kids alike. We have donated items such as BB guns, fishing poles, antler horns, and money. We raised around $1,700 which in return went right back into the booth for these kids. It’s such an honor to be able to donate a set of antler horn to a young whitetail enthusiast, to hang on their wall. It really helps set the spark for them to eventually one day start their own whitetail journey. I joe Smith, would like to send a special thank you to all my friends with Oklahoma Whitetails.
