Exercise-Her System

Pure Romance has developed a vaginal health program that will exercise your vaginal muscles to help you reclaim your sexual life. Like all muscletoning or fat-burning workouts you would see in a fitness magazine, this plan is progressive. What that means is you are going to start out at a beginner fitness level and work your way up to an elite fitness level.

Exercise-Her System WHAT ARE KEGELS? Kegel exercises are exercises in which you contract and relax the pelvic floor muscles. Your pelvic floor muscles can weaken due to pregnancy, childbirth, aging, being overweight or obese and certain abdominal surgeries. Kegels target the pubococcygeus muscle, or PC muscles for short.

A FEW BENEFITS OF KEGEL EXERCISES •

Better/Stronger Orgasms The PC muscles are the ones responsible for pleasure felt during the involuntary contractions of orgasm in both sexes. By doing Kegels every day, you strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, leading to stronger contractions that give you a stronger orgasm. Prevent and Combat Urinary Incontinence Pregnancy and childbirth weaken the pelvic floor muscles, so it’s a good idea to do Kegels to prevent leaks after your baby is born. Aging can also lead to urinary incontinence when you cough, sneeze or laugh. By strengthening the PC muscles, you can gain better bladder control. Prevent Uterine/Vaginal/Rectal Prolapse The PC muscles are like a hammock or sling holding the pelvic organs in place. When the pelvic floor muscles are too weak, the vagina and uterus can shift or completely prolapse. A benefit of Kegel exercises is that they strengthen your “hammock.” Lack of muscle tone and strength in your pelvic floor muscles can lead to complete muscle atrophy.

STEP 1: Start off with the lighter weight (30g) placed in the sling. • Insert the weight into the vagina using a water-based lubricant. Make sure that it is inserted sufficiently into the vagina passed the PC muscles. • Start contractions of the PC muscles insuring that with each contraction, there is a squeezing and lifting of the muscles. You will notice that you are doing them correctly when you see the molded loop moving up with each contraction. • Hold each contraction for 2-3 seconds and continue for 10-15 contractions. • After contractions, rest for one minute, then repeat the cycle two more times.

STEP 2: Change to the heavier weight of 40g by changing it in the sling. PASSIVE STIMULATION • • • • •

Start with the lighter weight (30g). Using a water-based lubricant, insert the weight with the sling into the vagina until it comfortably passes the PC muscles. The molded loop should remain outside of the vagina for easy removal. Wear the exerciser between a few and several hours a day while doing regular daily activities. The passive stimulation occurs when there is movement and the vibration from the inner weight stimulates increased tone of the vaginal and PC muscles. Remove exerciser and clean & dry thoroughly before putting away. As vaginal tone increases (normally after 4-6 weeks of active exercises), you can start using the heavier (40g) weight. The sling is provided for easy removal, but weights may be used without the sling for passive stimulation if you can easily remove with fingers. If you have difficulty removing weights with fingers alone, please use with the sling.

Use this combination performing the same cycle of exercise for 4-6 weeks. STEP 3: Change the weights in the sling so that there is a heavier weight of 40g weight in both loops. Use this combination performing the same cycle of exercise for 4-6 weeks. PASSIVE STIMULATION •

ACTIVE EXERCISE these exercises should be done in the morning if possible for 4-6 weeks

STEP 1: Insert the 2 weights furthest from the loop into the vagina using a water-based lubricant. Make sure that it is inserted sufficiently into the vagina passed the PC muscles while the weight furthest from the loop remains outside of the vagina. Some women may find it more comfortable to remove the smallest weight and insert the first empty loop and the second loop with weight instead. In this step, only the larger weight and molded loop will remain outside of the vagina. • Start contractions of the PC muscles insuring that with each contraction, there is a squeezing and lifting of the muscles. You will notice that you are doing them correctly when you see the molded loop moving up with each contraction. • Hold each contraction for 2-3 seconds and continue for 10-15 contractions. • After contractions, rest for one minute, then repeat the cycle two more times. • Continue with the 30g weight closest to the loop for 4-6 weeks STEP 2: Insert only the smallest weight in the sling into the vagina so that the other two weighted balls are hanging outside the vagina. Exercise-Her System

EXERCISE-HER TIPS: Wash before and after each use. Rinse under warm water and thoroughly spray with Come Clean, Pure Romance’s toy cleaner. Re-rinse under warm water and pat the toy dry with a clean towel, or allow it to air dry. Store each toy in its own bag or container. This will help maintain the longevity of the toy.

Always use a water-based lubricant when inserting the Exercise-Her weights and slings. We recommend pH balanced Just Like Me. Do both STEP 1 and STEP 2 active exercises for 4-6 weeks

You can wear your Exercise-Her weights while menstruating, but never with a tampon. The recommended method would be to exercise while using a maxi pad.

Although there are balls on the market that can be used during sexual activity, the size and weights of these weights are not recommended for use during intercourse. Please contact your Pure Romance consultant to find weights suitable for those activities.
