Dalton SDA Church Announcements VISITORS - Welcome to the Dalton Seventh-day Adventist Church! Let us know how we may serve you by filling out a Welcome Card found in the Sanctuary pews and placing it in an offering plate during the Tithes & Offerings time. Please join us in the gym for a fellowship meal after the service. "From the beginning, it has been God's plan that through His church shall be reflected to the world His fullness and His sufficiency. The members of the church, those whom He has called out of darkness into His marvelous light, are to show forth His glory" (AA page 9). It is now only ten weeks until Messiah's Mansion Dalton opens to the public. It is an immense project, and a lot of work will be required before, during, and after to make it a success. By far, the most important work we can do is fall on our knees before our All -powerful Creator. If as individuals, families, and a congregation we all seek the Lord to teach us to allow Him to direct our lives, befitting a people who truly believe they are living in the true Day of Atonement, there is no possible way our mission to share the gospel can fail. "If you believe, you will see the glory of God" (John 11:40). Please pray for our church and for this project. If you feel called to help out in an additional capacity, please fill out a service form, or speak with Pastor Clark, Tiffany Britt, or Brent Goodge. Sunrise Service: The Collegedale Community Church will host their Sunrise Service on March 31 from 7:30am to noon. It will include a worship service, large breakfast, Bible character vignettes with a petting zoo, a "Triumphal Entry" parade for the children, and games.

Our speaker next week will be Dr. Greg King, Ph.D., Chairman of the Religion Department at Southern Adventist University. Dr. King has broad experience in both pastoral and educational work. Family Ministries Training Give us 24 hours of your time to equip you for effective family ministry in your church! This event will be held April 13 at 2pm to April 14 at 2pm at the Georgia-Cumberland Conference office. The weekend includes 5 of the 10 seminars needed to obtain the Basic Family Ministries Certification. (The 5 remaining seminars will be offered Oct. 19-20, 2013.) Register by April 11!

A Day of Fasting and Prayer Friday, April 5-We are asking for both our pastors and our membership to unite in petitioning our heavenly Father for a special outpouring of His Spirit on our churches, across our communities and upon His Church around the globe, so that we will be empowered to complete our mission. Thank you for planning for this special day and may God bless you richly. "Now and onward till the close of time the people of God should be more earnest, more wide-awake, not trusting in their own wisdom, but in the wisdom of their Leader. They should set aside days for fasting and prayer. Entire abstinence from food may not be required, but they should eat sparingly of the most simple food. No one should lift up his soul unto vanity, walking in pride and self-indulgence. We are living in a time that demands genuine humiliation and most earnest prayer. We are nearing the most important crisis that has ever come upon the world. If we are not wide-awake and watching, it will find us unprepared." Review and Herald, February 11, 1904 par. 6.
