At the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, we see every day how nature can inspire, restore, and bring people together. In 2024, we saw record attendance, major growth across our education programs, and real momentum toward our goal of being one of the world’s premier display gardens.
This was an incredible year for the Dallas Arboretum and my first year as President/CEO. Each season delivered something worth noting, renewed plantings across our 66-acre urban landscape, festivals that drew record crowds from across the region, and the start of key capital improvements that will elevate how visitors experience beauty, science, and sustainability throughout the garden.
Our work extended well beyond attendance. Conservation efforts expanded, sustainable practices advanced, and participation surged across school field trips, adult learning programs, and volunteer engagement. Membership continued to grow, reinforcing the community’s belief in what the Arboretum provides.
As we look ahead to 2026 and the blockbuster exhibition Hunt Slonem: Bunnies, Birds, and Butterflies, we are reminded that the Arboretum is more than a place to visit. It is a living classroom, a sanctuary in the city, and a catalyst that deepens the community’s connection to nature and to one another.
None of this progress happens without the commitment of our members, donors, volunteers, and partners. Your support drives this work forward.
Together, we continue to cultivate a garden for all.
Sincerely,

Sabina Carr President/CEO
