Napier Parking – Three simple tips for parallel parking Parallel parking is one driving skill which most learner drivers dread, and there’s no doubt that it’s one of the more complicated driving tasks. Here are three simple tricks which can make it a little easier. The first tip is to learn your mirror to mirror measurements; this will help you to avoid bumping up against the other car. After you have pulled up alongside the other car, you should line the left side view mirror up with their right side mirror, if your car and the other one are about the same size. If you’re parallel parking next to a car which is larger than yours, then you need to align the side view mirror approximately 6 to 12 inches behind theirs. If the other car is smaller, then you need to move your car to the front of theirs, by the same distance of about 6 to 12 inches.

Napier Parking – How to change the oil in a car Changing the oil in your car is a relatively simple way to keep your car running efficiently. If this task is neglected, the engine can become damaged over time, so it’s worth taking a half an hour or so, every few months to do this. The first thing you’ll need to do is to gather the required tools. These include a socket or box end wrench, which will be used for removing the drain plug, as well as clean oil, a new filter, an oil drip pan, and some paper towels. Before you begin, drive the car for a short while, then turn off the engine and allow it to cool for a minimum of 15 minutes. This allows the oil to warm up slightly so that it will flow better, and also ensures that it drains back down to the bottom of the engine.

Overheating due to radiator damage is yet another common issue. The radiator of a car can sometimes sustain damage from small bits of debris on the road however more often than not the problem is caused by improper maintenance, which triggers a series of events under the car’s hood which cause components to overheat. If the driver continues to run the car whilst it’s overheating, then the temperatures may be high enough to cause permanent damage to the engine.
