What perspective or voice do you bring that DTH readers need to hear? 3. What general theme do you propose for your columns? Why are you qualified to write on that theme? How will you produce eight strong columns on that theme? 4. What makes a good columnist in a community newspaper? 5. How will you approach the original reporting for your columns?
