What is coming up at the next Chamber luncheon and a recap of last month’s gathering

February Recap of BLT The Lehi Area Chamber of Commerce February BLT (Business at Lunch Time) was held at the Texas Roadhouse in Lehi. During lunch representatives from the Utah Department of Transportation gave a presentation. Updates were given on the status of Highway 92 (the Alpine Highway) and the Pioneer Crossing Road through Lehi and it’s positive effects on residents and businesses. Participants were also given the opportunity of asking questions to UDOT officials regarding the two new roads. Mark Alldridge of Aldridge Chiropractic and Ethan Shumway with the American Fork Hospital received new membership plaques. If you missed all the fun, be sure to join us in March at Costco.

April BLT Speaker Information Steve Densley is the longest sitting Chamber President in the State of Utah with 26 years of service. He was born and raised in the state and graduated from Jordan High School where he was selected All American in both Football and Basketball. He attended BYU on a sports scholarship and graduated in 1970. Steve has hosted an early morning and nightly TV Show for the past three years called Taking Care of Business and writes a weekly column for the Daily Herald now in its 15th year. He currently sits on the U.S. Chambers Institute of Organizational Management Board of Regents at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In the fall of 2009, the Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce where Steve served as President was renamed the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce and Steve has worked diligently to share the message that the UV Chamber will be a strong voice for Utah County businesses on a State level.
