The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), in partnership with the Department of Defense, have launched a new resource for military families: Parenting for Service Members and Veterans (http://militaryparenting.org). The new website offers anonymous self-help modules designed to provide military parents the skills and resources they need to improve their parenting and connect with their families. The interactive activities and stories of real military and veteran families provide valuable skills for everyday challenges of raising military children, with particular emphasis on reconnecting following a separation such as deployment.
