SafeKEY is a term that you will often come to hear in Key Club that is used to describe the behavior that is to be expected at all Key Club and Key Clubrelated events. In entails the use of professionalism in all situations (online or in-person), such as the use of appropriate language, being vigilant in what you put online, being kind and respectful to others, and the inhibition of any sort of bullying or harassment.

Each of you are a representation of the organization that we represent, so, remember to always SAFEKEY!

Division 37 North hosted a senior card-making DCM at a local park, bringing together members for a fun and meaningful event While the day was originally planned to start with card-making right away, there was a slight delay as the lieutenant governor was running a bit behind schedule But that didn’t
stop the division’s leadership team from keeping the energy high! To help pass the time and keep spirits up, they led the group in a series of classic and entertaining games Everyone jumped in to play crowd favorites like Duck Duck Goose and the game of Concentration, which brought lots of
laughter and helped everyone bond Later, tables were filled with markers, pens, stickers, and colorful cardstock as members got creative and thoughtful with their messages Each attendee took the time to create at least one or two personalized cards for seniors of their choice, filled with kind words,
Temescal Canyon’s Key club were invited to the first DCM of the year It was a great opportunity to be able to learn more about the club, meet new people, and learn about opportunities and events we can bring to our club! We made cards to give to our seniors which was a wonderful way to earn community service hours and give back to the seniors who have put so much time and effort into the club We also played a couple games to get to know each other more and our school received a district tree award for going beyond expectations and excellence in leadership, commitment, and service! It was a great experience overall for our club to meet new members of other key clubs, learn about DCM meetings, and give back to our seniors!

The first Divisional Council Meeting hosted by our new Lieutenant Governor, Jodi Sanchez, was a success! Chaparral board members Sonia Parande (President), Samuel Pineda (Vice President), and Tristan Clark Serrano (Senior Representative), as well as previous division board members Dante Nguyen (Former Lieutenant Governor) and Nick Schiweitzer (Former Web Coordinator), are shown participating in an ice breaker activity. The meeting was a fantastic way to network with other Key Club members across the division In addition to fun introductions and service updates, members came together to make heartfelt cards for graduating seniors Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable event!

BINGO!!

Murrieta Mesa’s Key Club had the amazing service opportunity to help out at one of our local elementary schools, Antelope Hills Elementary, for their annual Bingo De Mayo event! During Bingo Night, twelve of our Key Clubbers assisted Antelope Hill’s PTA by performing various jobs and tasks assigned to them. It was super awesome to help out our younger students!
Seeing the joy and excitement light up from them whenever they yelled “BINGO!!” caused our Key Clubbers to smile and feel the excitement as well. For the duration of the event, a few of our members ran in and out of the multi-purpose room to assist with publicly announcing Bingo numbers outdoors, and our other members assisted by passing out Bingo cards and paint doppers to students and families Our Key Clubbers had a fantastic time conversing and interacting with many of the elementary students at the event! In fact, this Bingo Night was the first service event our club has held since electing our new incoming executive board. Each of our new officers and previous officers took the time to train and adjust into their new executive roles for this upcoming year. Taking the time to help volunteer at an elementary level is so important because it helps build a firmer connection and strengthens the sense of community and bond between students of varying ages Murrieta Mesa’s Key Club is already anticipating their next volunteer service event at an elementary school! Our club’s motivation and participation in community service events is so important, and it’s wonderful to see that that growth is already transpiring!

Perris High’s Key Club was able to close up the school year with an Ice Cream Social. In the social, there was ice cream and toppings for all members, as well as the sashes and cords distributed to the seniors. It was a great time to say our goodbyes to all the seniors! This was the last meeting of the year and the only meeting that took place during June. We are all excited for what the next year will bring!

CONNER NGUYEN / PALOMA VALLEY

On June 3rd, Paloma Valley’s Key Club held their annual banquet to celebrate and conclude the end and start of the term! Members brought food, games, and friends along, where everyone shared laughter and came together! Awards were given out to members who truly showed their spirits, and the upcoming officers for the new term were officially welcomed in, as shown in the picture! Altogether, the banquet helped to connect members and create bonds with one another, as well as wrapping up the term to introduce new beginnings All in all, members came together, laughed, ate, and last but not least, reflected on the accomplishments of Paloma Valley’s KC in 2024-2025!

Liberty Key Club attended the Froyo-TC hosted by Lieutenant Governor Jodi Sanchez on Sunday, June 8th, 2025. This event was a significant achievement for the club, as newly elected members gained insight into the duties they are expected to fulfill throughout the year. In attendance there was Liberty Key Club’s president (Isabel Trinh), vice presidents (Gwayne Madrones, Kaelyn Hardy, and Mia Chiu), secretary (Citlalli Dionicio), and treasurer (Zara Rihan). Each individual is displayed in an attempt to spell out “OTC” to finish an assigned scavenger hunt, as an additional member takes their photo. This gathering was great in terms of getting an idea of where the club should be, while also allowing us to socialize and bond with the present clubs and divisions.

DAYANARA BASURTO / ORANGE VISTA

Orange Vista’s Key Club would just like to give our heartfelt congrats and goodbyes to our senior officers Hailey, Danish, and Genesis. We are so incredibly thankful for their hard work and dedication to Key Club for the past two years. Our junior officers are thankful for the opportunity to work with these wonderful individuals and form connections with them. The past two years with them have been amazing, and we are confident that they will succeed in the journey ahead. Furthermore, we congratulate all of our senior members for their passion towards Key Club. For those who had been active members with us for the past two years, they have been rewarded with wonderful graduation cords!
