Fall semester offers classes to ‘be the best you!’

Community Education offers discounted prices for our Gold Card Club members on some of these classes. One new class this fall semester is the 90-minute advanced fitness class, Tai Chi, Hunyuan Style (#3503A), which starts November 24.

Do What You Want to Do!

Also new this semester is CERT or Community Emergency Response Team Training. There’s no fee to attend all six sessions but you need to register with Community Education. All six sessions will take place at the Elk Grove Village municipal center. For more information, please call District 214 Community Education at 847-718-7700. You can also register online at www.ce214.org. This fall, make a commitment to “do what you want to do” and be on your way to a new and better you!

District 214 Community Education invites you this fall to make this year your best year. With over 200 classes - dance, cooking, yoga, etc. - to choose from, there’s a class waiting for you! Register now!

Whether it’s wanting to learn to sing a cappella, to explore the endless ways to pickle, to make traditional kolaczky cookies with strawberry and raspberry fillings, to re-live the “Golden Age of Radio,” to learn to make Asian sauces, or you’ve been wanting to diet but you’re “Too Busy to Diet,” or you want to know more about your “Diabetes and Diet,” or you’ve been wanting to improve your computer skills, you can choose from over 200

classes lined up for you this fall. Some of these classes - arts, computer technology, culinary experiences, finance, business, law, real estate, fitness, home, garden, beauty, languages, writing, leisure interests, needlework, crafts, and personal enrichment - will start September 22; others have started earlier and some will start in October or November. “Our Community Education program in
