Hello Division 8,
It seems the end of the term is coming quicker and quicker with every month that passes. Well in February, I had a lot of fun seeing everyone at the DCM. I'm sure all my seniors are nervous about college responses to come back but there's something to take your mind off that stress......DCON is coming up soon! Be sure to have all your paperwork and rides ready for this awesome weekend! I can't wait to see you all then :)

February DCM and Volunteer Opportunity
At the February DCM, our DLT was auctioned off to the division members who attended! The DLT brought baskets filled with their favorite candy as well as intensives to buy them, such as boba and a dance. In total, we raised more than $300 to help with the Australian fires. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped ! Help the community and volunteer at the Matt Garcia Downtown Clean up! WHEN: Every last Saturday at 9 AM WHERE: Starbucks at 700 Texas St., Fairfield WHAT: A monthly downtown cleanup of Fairfield! Lunch (usually pizza) is always provided for free following the event.

American Canyon Another Thursday meant another fun day at Reading Buddies! Not only did we read stories to the COES kids, but we also participated in fun activities with them, such as playing games and drawing. Their eagerness to learn and play is what keeps us Key Clubbers motivated to help them! For the past two Wednesday meetings, our Key Club hosted our Officer Elections! Speeches were performed, tears were shed, and a snapshot of 20202021’s potential officers was showcased for the whole club to see. As a retiring officer, it is always a refreshing feeling to see these Key Clubbers give their best for their peers.
'Conclave for the assignment of 2020-2021’s D8 LTG was decidedly hosted at American Canyon High School’s theatre this year. Many Key Clubbers from around the division represented themselves in this gathering, with DCM being carried out as per usual followed by Conclave itself. Out of the two potential LTGs, Aimee Han was selected, pioneering the 2020-2021 term and establishing the Han Dynasty of D8! We also sold magnets, pins, stickers, and pizza, fundraising successfully for our club.
