BACKGROUND THE HONG KONG ESCAPE RE-ENACTMENT ORGANISATION (OR ‘H.E.R.O.’ FOR SHORT) WAS FORMED TO COMMEMORATE & RAISE AWARENESS OF THE GREAT ESCAPE OF THE 2ND MTB FLOTILLA AND PARTY FROM HONG KONG TO FREEDOM IN CHINA ON CHRISTMAS DAY 1941.


BRAND IDENTITY THE CENSOR-SEALED ENVELOPE APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE POST FOR 70 YEARS AND BEGAN TO TELL THIS INTRIGUING STORY, WHICH CONTINUED WITH THE ENCLOSED TELEGRAM-STYLE LETTER, COMPLETE WITH THE ESCAPE ROUTE PRINTED ON THE REVERSE.


BUSINESS CARDS PORTRAYING THE REAL LIFE CHARACTERS OF THE STORY IN THE STYLE OF COLLECTABLE CIGARETTE CARDS GAVE EACH DESCENDANT A PERSONALISED PIECE OF EVOCATIVE EPHEMERA FROM THE ERA.
