Gluten Free Reuben Melt Canyon Bakehouse has a new gluten free bread called Colorado Caraway. Colorado Caraway is so close to being Rye Bread without actually having any rye in it! It's soft and tastes great. Toasts really well. What would you do with this bread? I know what I did, I made a Reuben Melt! We are not big sauerkraut fans, so instead of sauerkraut I used creamy cole slaw.
Peanut Butter Fruit Pitas I don’t know about you but if I hear one more person ask me what’s for dinner, I may scream or hide in the closet. I love to cook but some days I am just so tired of cooking the same old thing that I wish I had some quick and easy inspiration. There is a really cool new Facebook app that can help with that. The Walmart Meals Solutions App sends out daily recipes that will inspire you!

Fresh Green Bean Casserole
Parmesan Potato Puffs are a simple side dish that will convince your family that you spent much more time in the kitchen than you really did. If you want to serve something different for dinner instead of the traditional rice or mashed potatoes, this recipe is for you.
I don’t hate green beans but I never cared for green bean casserole very much. My husband, however, absolutely loves green bean casserole. So, a few years ago, in the spirit of being a good wife, I thought I’d try to find a recipe for a good green bean casserole.
Roasted Brussels Sprouts
I have been seeing a lot of posts on different blogs lately about Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Every blog has a different way of roasting them and different ingredients they toss the sprouts with before they are cooked. In the comments section of one of the blogs, someone was raving about how much different the flavor of Brussels sprouts are when they are roasted and this really got me interested.
Often times the simplest answer is the best. This salad is not only beautiful, but when made with fresh ingredients, is as satisfying as any loaded salad you’ve ever tried!
Macaroni and Cheese with Onion Crunchers On a cold, dreary day, I really need something warm and delicious for dinner. It always seems like on days like these I go for comfort food that I remember from my childhood. One of my all time favorite comfort foods is macaroni and cheese. Today I used a recipe that I found in Good Housekeeping’s Comfort Food! Cookbook.

Meyer Lemon Coffee Cake ...Just before you serve the cake, stir together the confectioners’ sugar and the lemon juice in a small bowl. Drizzle it over the cooled coffee cake and let some drip down the side. Let it set for 5 minutes. Cut & serve.
How to make Fondant It is very basic and easy with fondant, and I put some baby toys on top. I had wanted to make cakes like on Cake Boss, which is where I learned the word “fondant.” I wanted to make pretty cakes too, so I searched the net, played with the recipe and here ya go:
