he Rapid Angels Cycle Club hosted their annual fall hare scramble at Dyracuse Recreational Park in Rome, WI. Beautiful fall temps and a good rider turnout made for some exceptional fall racing. The day started out with the 50cc class taking to the small, but manageable course built just for these riders. Will Halverson took the lead and came home with the victory over Nadia Ellingson and Christian Bilansky. The 9:00am start for 85cc, 65cc and Women took off from the Supercross track and headed out to the west wood sections for an hour long race. First out of the gate was 85cc runner Collin Jahns followed by 65cc class and then the Women. At the end of lap one, it was Mason French who was the first one through the transponder area closely followed by Stephanie Steuck. Steuck who made her way through the big 65cc class closed the gap on French in a hurry. At the end of lap two she was leading the group and never looked back to win the group overall and the Womenâ€™s class. French put in solid laps to lock up the 65cc class and Jahns finished first in the 85cc division. These three class leaders were the only riders to finish six laps on the long course. The next group out on the one hour course was made up of Vintage, +50 and C class riders. Cody Steuck was able to get the holeshot in C class, and never looked back. He led from start to finish and put in a solid ride.
