Orange City Council is inviting owners of heritage buildings within the local government area to apply for the Local Heritage Assistance Fund 2018/2019. The Local Heritage Assistance Fund is a joint program of Orange City Council and the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage. Projects should involve the repair, conservation or re-instatement of missing items on heritage buildings. This may include fences, verandas and decorative detail. Copies of the Local Heritage Assistance Fund Guidelines and Application Form can be obtained by telephoning 6393 8444 or via email jduffy2@orange. nsw.gov.au or from Council’s website www.orange.nsw. gov.au/grants Completed application forms should be received by the General Manager, Orange City Council, PO Box 35, Orange NSW 2800 no later than 4.00 pm on Friday 9 March 2018.

CALLING FOR APPLICATIONS

Orange Regional Museum is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from members of the community who wish to volunteer as a Front of House Volunteer at Orange Regional Museum. The main purpose of this role is to provide a welcoming service and general assistance to visitors of Orange Regional Museum. You will be required to work up to 8 hours per month and undergo Orange City Council’s Corporate Volunteer Process. Orange City Council is calling for applications from community groups who wish to access Council’s financial assistance program. The aim of the program is to provide financial assistance to various community groups who provide direct benefit to the community.
