STOPGAP ISOLATOR JOINTING TAPE should be used on all seams. Most sheet vinyl can be bonded to the membrane using STYCCOBOND F47 pressure sensitive vinyl adhesive. STYCCOBOND F84 is a solvent free, two-part adhesive that can be used for bonding sheet rubber, linoleum and vinyl floorcoverings. STYCCOBOND F41 can be used to install bitumen backed carpet tiles to the membrane.

STOPGAP Isolator Membrane is an impervious laminated sheet onto which numerous sheet vinyl, linoleum and rubber floorcoverings can be bonded along with carpet tiles. It is designed to be laid over damp surfaces, some existing resilient floorcoverings and also onto oil and paint contaminated subfloors. It is a loose lay system that allows easy removal, leaving the surface in its original condition. The sheet has nodules on the underside to create an airspace allowing ventilation of water vapour from a damp subfloor into a dry wall. It is supplied in rolls 2m wide by 20m long.
