THE CURE FOR CERVICAL CANCER INTRODUCTION The cervix is the lowest portion of a woman’s uterus connecting it with the vagina. Cervical cancer occurs when there is abnormal growth of cells of the cervix affecting the other tissues and organs. Cancer may develop its own blood vessel and continue to grow. This process is known as angiogenesis. Bevacizumab is an angiogenesis inhibitor that stops this process.

CRYOTHERAPY

This is a process where liquid nitrogen is used to freeze the cancerous cells by producing extremely freezing temperatures. Once these cells are destroyed, healthy cells can grow. Although not exhaustive, these are some of the methods for treating cervical cancer. As medical field researches and finds new pathways, there are sure to be newer painless treatments for cervical cancer.
