o Admission is recommended by the Registrar based on courses completed and grades sent via a transcript. In general, students are admitted with a cumulative 2.3 GPA determined by the Registrar after evaluation of courses accepted by the College.

o For students falling between a cumulative GPA of 2.00 to a 2.29 after courses have been evaluated by the Registrar and accepted by the College, they may be reviewed by the Enrollment Management Committee who will make a determination for acceptance or denial.

Admission is recommended by the Registrar based on courses completed and grades sent via a transcript. In general, the GPA must above 2.3 for admittance without further review.

For students below a 2.3 after courses have been evaluated by the Registrar, they may be reviewed by the Enrollment Management Committee who will make a determination for acceptance or denial.

• Regular Admission o 2.0-2.99 cumulative grade point average OR o An evaluation of previously taken credits at prior institutions warrants additional review, regardless of cumulative GPA

• Committee Admission o Below a 2.0 cumulative grade point average OR o An evaluation of previously taken credits at prior institutions warrants additional review.

Committee Admit - Conditions on first semester: o Must enroll in CS 101 or CS 102 based on recommendation of the Enrollment Management Committee

Students being admitted with conditions will be notified in their initial acceptance letter. INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSION International students, whether first-year, transfer, online, or graduate, have the same admission requirements as domestic students, but are required to be proficient in English.

The TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo can be waived if applicants • Prior to review for admission, came from English-speaking countries and were required to take the ACT or SAT test • Have received a US high school diploma or graduated from an international high school in their home country (with all English instruction) • Enrolled for at least one semester at a college or university in the United States • Completed an English as a Second Language program (ESL or ELL) o Further requirements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and could include an interview and writing sample.

International applicants for first-time degree-seeking admission will be considered if they meet the following requirements through a two-tiered system of admission:

Full International Admission Along with all admission standards previously noted, international students must submit a test score showing a TOEFL score of 61-79, IELTS score of 6.0 or Duolingo score of 60-80

Students who do not meet the admission standards will be reviewed for admission or denial by the Enrollment Management Committee. Students must submit a writing sample/personal statement, recommendation from an educator and complete an interview, if requested. If conditionally admitted, the student will enroll in CS 101 or CS 102.

Committee Admission Eligible students with the following: TOEFL score of 60 and below, IELTS score of 5.5 and below or Duolingo score of 59 and below
