Oral exposition of the book

Here you will find some useful advices that you need to use in your oral exposition. Remember that your classmates will have not read the book you are doing the exposition on. Your language needs to be precise, clear and the ideas well organised.

1. Start with a brief introduction of the story: write down the main character-s, the plot, the setting, the location 2. Analyse the main characters 3. Explain the plot and how it affects the characters 4. End with the resolution of the book and describe the key moments 5. Tell the class your opinion: Did you like the story? What ideas or themes does the book talk about? Would you reccommend it? Was it difficult to follow? What happened when you didn’t know the meaning of a word? ...
