How Can you help and get involved!
Fraternities and Sororities are a great way to get involved on campus and meet new people. It’s not just an oath you take once; it’s one you take every day! This is a wonderful support system that can help your student with everything from adjusting to a new academic routine to finding a “home away from home”. Many of the organizations have active alumni support who help the chaptermembers and can open many doors to future opportunities. Parenting a college student brings new experiences, major milestones, and sometimes daunting challenges. At Columbus State University, your student can pursue his/her intellectual, social growth safely and freely while obtaining a first-class education. Your student can remain grounded in the values he/she learned from you at home. One of our top priorities here at Columbus State is to ensure that parents feel as if they are a part of the CSU community at every step. We’re dedicated to partnering with you to make your student’s experience here at CSU as successful and rewarding as possible. If your student is considering “going Greek” remember what you may have seen on television or in movies may be misleading. At Columbus State University, we work towards setting higher standards for our member groups. Become A Member There are TWO ways to become a member:
1. Join the Parent and Family Connection on the first morning of Orientation! 2. Sign up to be a part of the Parent and Family Connection by emailing Parents@columbusstate.edu. You will begin receiving monthly emails with campus news, tips to support your student from departments on campus and much more.
