Clinical findings have reported that patients with cataract experience a decrease in visual acuity with increasing painless blurring of vision. Visual distortion is common such as glare, dazzling effects, dimness and discoloration due to the changes in lens color to yellow, amber then finally to brown. In slowly progressive cataracts, changes may go unnoticed for quite a long period. Frequent complaints are difficulty with reading and night driving and problems with glare.
