CLIFTON PARK - Starting September 9 at 12 pm, the Shenendehowa Adult Community Center, 6 Clifton Common Court, Clifton Park, will offer a Beginner Clogging course taught by instructor Fran Beaudoin. Summer Fair & Car Show CLIFTON PARK - The Shenendehowa Adult Community Center will hold their annual Summer Fair & Car Show on Saturday, August 24 from 11 am to 4 pm at 6 Clifton Common Court, Clifton Park. The event will feature a classic car & hot rod show, inflatable obstacle course, inflatable slide, castle bounce house, inflatable pirate ship with rock climbing wall, ball pit, craft & food vendors, demonstrations, carnival games, face painting, animal adoption clinic, and more! GNA’s Kevin Richard’s will provide music and line dancing. This event is open to the public with FREE ADMISSION! Wine and Food Tasting SCHUYLERVILLE - The Schuylerville Lions Club will be hosting its 7th Annual “Wine and Food Tasting” on July 27, 2013 at the Schuyler Yacht Basin. This event features local restaurants and food venders hosting booths offering tasty samples of their fare paired with booths offering samples of wines available from the areas major wine distributors and local wineries. The event kicks off at 4 PM and will run continuously until 7PM. Tickets are $20.00 each, available at the gate as well as from members of the Lions Club, and various businesses in the village. You must be 21 years of age to attend. No children will be admitted. The Schuyler Yacht Basin is located on Route 29, next to the bridge crossing the Hudson River going east. This event is a major fundraiser for our local “Journey for Sight” campaign. We are blessed by the support of our local restaurateurs and wine merchants in this effort and are hoping the public will expand its support of this fun and rewarding event. Meet Baby! Baby is a Boston Terrier/ Chihuahua mix. We know she looks like she is about to fly away with those ears but what a love she is! She is most definitely an inside dog or should I say princess. At 10 weeks old she has her foster mom wrapped around her little paw. She weighs about 10 lbs and will stay a small dog. She loves other dogs and will be a wonderful addition to any family.
