comics. Snacks are also welcome. Harlequin romances or books stored for a long time in attics or basements will not be sent to our troops, so please don’t donate them. Older, musty books cannot stand up to the rigors of living in a warzone or to the sterile conditions of hospitals. Harlequin romances are requested by the troops to NOT be sent. Because of this shortage of books, we have once again added Clifton Park Town Hall as a drop site. Its hours are 9-5 weekdays. However, if you have a huge donation to make (over 100 books) please contact ekeegan3@nycap. rr.com to set up a time to drop them at our office in Latham. The drop boxes are not meant for huge donations. Thank you as always for making Books for Troops possible with your generous donations. Ellen Keegan.
