FREE CONCERT TO BE HELD IN STONY CREEK There will be a free concert at the Stony Creek Town Hall on Friday, January 10, from 7-9 p.m. featuring Jim Gaudet and the Railroad Boys. This concert is the first of four concerts planned in a winter series sponsored by the Stony Creek Free Library. The band's sound is steeped in the tradition of “Acoustic Americana Roots Music.â€? They deliver a dynamic blend of traditional mountain music fused with GaudetĘźs diverse contemporary songwriting. Individually, the Railroad Boys are Jim Gaudet on guitar and vocals, Bobby Ristau on upright bass and harmony vocals, Sten Isachsen on mandolin and harmony vocals, and Mat Kane on fiddle. The Saratoga Winterfest 5K Snowshoe Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 11:00AM in the Saratoga Spa Park. The following week, Saturday, February 8, 2014 will come to Camp Saratoga 8k Snowshoe Race at the Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park. Camp Saratoga will begin at 10:30AM and is a qualifier for the United States National Snowshoe Championship.
