Bulletin Board Ice Skating Program DELMAR/ALBANY – The Albany Figure Skating Club will offer an eight-week ice skating instruction program for beginning skaters of all ages and abilities at the Bethlehem Area YMCA in Delmar on Saturdays at 12:15 pm, beginning Saturday, January 12; and at the Albany Academy Field House in Albany on Sundays at 12:30pm, beginning Sunday, January 13. Recreational, figure skaters, and hockey skaters aged preschool to adult are welcome; previous skating experience is not required. JCC to Offer Youth Basketball Clinic NISKAYUNA – The JCC of Schenectady will be offering a basketball clinic for boys and girls in grades 2-4 on Tuesdays starting January 15 from 4-5:30pm. The clinic will be conducted by internationally celebrated player and coach Yacouba Sangare. Coach Sangare is the president of Hoops4Kids and currently resides in Clifton Park. He played for the Men’s National Basketball Team in Niger in the early 1990s. Coach Sangare’s coaching career spans more than 20 years with experience at the international, collegiate, high school and youth levels. Yacouba brings an outstanding knowledge of the game and a successful way of communicating his love and knowledge of the game to youth.
