Water operator candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas; experience with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping and plumbing systems. Basic math and computer skills are helpful. Previous experience in water or wastewater operations and/ or a NYSDOH Grade D license is a plus but not required. a clean valid New York State Driver License is required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds above the waist and perform minor maintenance tasks. The position may require weekend and evening hours, including mandatory overtime. The position also require passing a physical exam and includes drug and alcohol testing before employment.
