Rappelling & Rock Climbing (optional) - Rappel down the rock face 20m with a nylon rope, figure 8 and total security. From the bottom, climb the impressive and exciting natural rock wall along the Colorado River Canyon. White Water Rafting - Class 3/4 If you are prepared for a huge adventure, you are surely ready for this. The Tenorio River will test your courage with its rapids class III and IV (irregular and medium waves, complex maneuverings in fast rapids in its class III; intense and powerful but yet predictable in the class IV). For those already rafters this trip is a must. Its’ continuous challenges await you as you plunge through twists, turns and drops down 8 miles of intense, challenging rapids. All participants must be in a good physical condition. The trip will not start after 9:00 a.m., since this is a full day tour. The trip on the river lasts for about 2 hours and includes a river snack on the bank of the river with, fresh fruits, cookies, natural beverages and water. At the end of the tour we will make a 50 minute drive to get to the restaurant where you will have a delicious lunch waiting. All passengers are provided with the necessary safety equipment, always in perfect conditions, to make this tour a great but safe experience. The Tenorio River has everything on it. You can find a 12 foot drop (class V), one of its kind. It is important to mention that both this drop and some of the most intense rapids cannot be done in poor weather. What to expect: Dry Season: January - March Full Day Off Shore
This time of year can be the best Blue and Black Marlin fishing in the world. The boats run 35 minutes south to calm and blue seas. It's not uncommon to catch 2 Marlin a day. There is also Sailfish, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Big Eye Tuna, and Yellow Fin Tuna (up to 250 lbs) to be caught. Half Day In Shore Large world class Roosterfish abound along the shoreline, as well as small game fish such as Skipjacks, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, and Rainbow Runner. The nearby reefs (a ten minute run) can produce some bigger fish such a Wahoo, Cubera Snapper, Grouper, Tuna, Dorado and maybe a Sailfish. Green Season: April - December Full Day Off Shore This is the Sailfish season, it is not uncommon to see 30 Sailfish in a day, as well as Dorado and Tuna. The Marlin (Blue, Black and Striped) can come on strong at anytime. Half Day In Shore The local reefs, a ten minutes from the beach, are full of Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo and Rainbow Runner with always a chance at a Sailfish or a big bottom fish such as a Grouper or Amberjack. The angler can also catch large Sharks on the reef. We recommend the angler charter a full day for serious bill fishing. PRICES VARY BY THE BOAT
