Senior Center Activities On Monday, Aug. 19, at 1:00pm, Don Bair will present a travelogue of their Alaskan cruise. If you have always wanted to go on a cruise or visit Alaska, come and spend the afternoon with us and think 'cool'. You may just be ready to book a cruise to Alaska by the time we are done! We are saddened to say that the Dam Seniors recently lost one of its most cherished members. Lee Culton, who was truly a great man and valued friend to all of us. He passed away on July 24th. He will be dearly missed. The family requests that any donations in his honor be made to the North Shore United Methodist Church or the CRRC Senior programs. crrcofcanyonlake

Click here!!: If you looked at “Paul” two years ago, you would have thought him the picture of health. But, pictures can be deceiving. After a liver transplant, his kidneys started shutting down. He went on total disability. But, $672/ month doesn’t go very far. He was careful about budgeting his pennies! Today, after a couple different oral surgeries, the only thing Paul can easily swallow is Ensure. The San Antonio Food Bank recently allowed us to stock up on this product, at a low, subsidized cost. This allows us to provide specialized assistance to disabled folks like Paul. Your donations continue to allow us to purchase food products at about $10 worth for every $1. Thank you!
