A Letter From the Coach The Crown Volleyball program embodies the definition of growth; striving to build success in the classroom, on the court during practice and competition, and in life. We encourage each member to hold themselves accountable to being responsible - making wise decisions and being willing to grow as athletes, students, and women of Christ. Our program seeks to produce young women, that represent Crown, as integrity-driven students in the classroom, as equal team members and as quality young professionals in the workplace; encouraging each other to want to be better in all aspects of life. Crown Volleyball reinforces qualities such as commitment, intensity, time management, positive work habits, team work and responsibility. As a team, we hold ourselves to higher academic and athletic standards; challenging ourselves to achieve goals that may seem unattainable at times. We also challenge each other to be strong, faith leaders and servants on campus and within the neighboring communities. One of the key components to our program is unity. We hope that after their collegiate playing career is done, each of these women will be left with some of the best memories and experiences of their life. Our goal is that our student-athletes leave Crown connected to a group of like-minded young women that will share a unique connection for the rest of their lives. To accomplish team unity, we sum up everything we do for (and bring to) the program into one word: Veracity. With veracity, we commit to each other, as coaches, players, and team members, to conform to the truth of what we truly are daily (good or bad). We are a group of student-athletes, given an opportunity to play the great game of volleyball and represent Crown College and Christ. We will execute team unity and growth by being precise and positive in our actions, play, and words.

“Crown volleyball means being a part of something bigger than myself. It’s not just six girls and one ball; it is everyone relying on each other, to work together, to win the point, to be better. Being a part of Crown Volleyball has taught me how to persevere through situations that seem impossible, they have been teammates both on and off the court. For that I am grateful.”
“Crown Volleyball is being a part of something bigger than yourself. It’s learning to play the game for your team, not just for yourself. It’s being a part of a family who always has your back.”
“Crown Volleyball is a program that encourages one another to do their best both academically and athletically. Volleyball has helped improve not only my volleyball abilities, but has also my leadership skills. Playing volleyball helped me adapt to college life the moment I got here and has helped me feel a part of the community here at Crown.”

Crown Volleyball gave me the chance to grow as a leader, spiritually and professionally. I loved playing volleyball at Crown and wouldn’t change it for the world.”
