CROSSROADS YOUTH HAPPENINGS UPWARD INWARD OUTWARD There are so many exciting things happening at Crossroads Youth Ministries you definitely do not want to miss out! REACH OKC was a great success. Crossroads Youth Ministries teamed up with several other youth ministries in the area and really reached out to our community in a big way! We kicked the week off with a great service in Bethesda, followed by four days of spreading love to the community in various ways. Tuesday we met at Inner City Church where we painted, cleaned, and passed out flyers for their upcoming Easter Service. Wednesday we took a day and focused on our home church and cleaned up around the Crossroads campus. You also might have noticed that some of our area schools look cleaner... Thursday we took the

students to different campus’s where they did some gardening and campus clean-up. By Friday it was time to party! All of the kids did such an amazing job and really worked together so we decided they needed to have a little fun over Spring Break! All the youth ministries met at our Crossroads campus where they devoured some tasty chili dogs, went crazy on the blowups and heard an empowering message from Greg Tiffany. Pastor Mark would like to give a special thanks to all of our students who participated in this outreach as well as the other youth ministries that travelled to be a part of this incredible experience. Spring is FINALLY here! And we have some exciting events planned for the month of April! [1]

The sermon series this month is entitled “POWER”. Pastor Mark will be talking to the students about the power of the resurrection! They will explore the reason for the resurrection, the importance of the resurrection, and the power that we have as Christians because of the resurrection For April’s outreach we will be heading grocery shopping... huh? Grocery Shopping? YES! This month we will be teaming up with a couple local grocery stores and helping out in any way we can. From helping people carry groceries to their car to the clean-up on aisle 3. So parents, GET YOUR KIDS INVOLVED on April 10th from 1-4 p.m.!

LETTER FROM PASTOR MARK AND MARY We are a fourth of the way through 2010 and we still have so much more to accomplish for Jesus Christ. Remember about Mission 120, our goal is to have 120 students actively involved in the ministry by the end of 2010. Continue to reach out and to pray for those students whose names are on our Mission 120 banner. Youth camp is coming up and I want to encourage each and every teenager and parent to get involved.Youth camp is a place where God can really impact their lives exponentially. Make sure they are there! If you are not signed up you can do so on a Wednesday Night at the information table outside of the Lodge

There is still so much time left in the year for you to do something amazing for Jesus Christ. Make every second count and don’t let any opportunity to share the love of Christ pass you by. There are people all around us every single day that need the love of God in their lives and it is our job to show it to them. In Christ, Mark & Mary
