#MySenseofSelf CHAMPS CHAMPS Workshop

‘Champs’ is a recognition scheme at XPO Logistics Barnsley which is based around the company values and recognises colleagues for going above and beyond their everyday tasks. Colleagues receive points which they can cash out for prizes. Dominika Sullivan is a Duty Section Manager on site and was recently nominated for her hard work and dedication to the Yellow Belt and Green Belt programme.

Dominika was one of the first Yellow Belts to join the programme nearly 3 years ago. She completed a successful project and presented to the leadership team. About 1 years later she was keen to continue her journey in CI so joined the Green Belt programme. Again Dominika successfully completed her project and has presented to the Account Director Ken Perritt and the ASOS team. Big well done to Dominika who received 100 Champ Value points! XPO Logistics/ASOS teamed up with The Diana Award to run self-esteem and body confidence workshops for young people. The Diana Award is a charity legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world.

Colleagues completed a half day training session before running a total of seven workshops at Netherwood High School, Hope House School and Kirk Balk Academy. This was a fantastic experience for everybody involved and was enjoyed by all!

XPO Logistics recently attended an Interview Practise Session at Netherwood High School.

As well as making a massive impact on the environment, volunteers also learnt a new skill and will receive a certificate for successfully passing the course.
