Sarah Jane Pell, Ph.D. is an Australia Council Fellow (Emerging & Experimental Arts), TED Fellow (US), Simulation Astronaut (EU) and Artist-­‐Astronaut Candidate (US) Her practice marries Aesthetics with Astronautics, Occupational Diving, HCI Design, Biotechnology, Body Performance and Exploration. She engages art and performance practices to disrupt thinking on the kinds of high-­‐ risk domains that can be innovated on. Project Partners have included: NASA, European Space Agency (ETTAS), SymbioticA (UWA), Exertion Games Lab (RMIT), International Space University, Singularity University, Atlantica Expeditions, Project PoSSUM and Project Moonwalk.
