Being the best Buddy one can be….A SUPER BUDDY! A Buddy is a short or long term relationship that forms only in AIESEC in this meticulous process. As a Buddy one must be inspiring to your EP’s so that they are motivated through the process of finding a great internship. One as a Buddy must help the EP by keeping them informed on AIESEC procedures and helping from the beginning of the finding Internships in the system till the day they are matched and leave to their internships country. Basics to KNOW and HAVE: 1) MOTIVATION,MOTIVATION, MOTIVATION 2) Each EP must pay a fee of $ 300.00. First payment of $150.00 to be made when rose into the AIESEC system and the second payment when the EP is matched with their internship. 3) All payments must be made by either deposite in the bank account assignd or money order…..MORE INFO 4) Time period of matching constists of 4 weeks 5) Give at leaset a full or half a month for visa process

What is a CV? CV is an abbreviation of curriculum vitae which is in turn a short resume to send to interested internships. This includes the following: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5)

Name, number, address and e-mail A short paragraph of 3 to 4 sentences in which the EP writes something about themselves and their interests Education/ special courses they have taken. Employment that the EP will believe that will help in getting an internships interest Skills, languages

What is a AN? When an EP has finally chosen their internship they must send an Acceptance Note (AN) that provides their EP id and signature. When the AN is sent then the EP must wait at least 3-5 days to have a response from the Internship. AN EP CANNOT SEND MORE THAN ONE ACCEPTANCE NOTE AT THE SAME TIME.

Dear AIESEC in Perú, I accept and commit to this traineeship. This acceptance note is a formal acceptance of the internship stated above. By signing to this acceptance note, I agree to participate in the above-mentioned internship if selected by the organisation. I understand that I may only withdraw my acceptance without consequence in the case of unsafe political conditions that arise in the host city/country or personal or family emergencies that prevent me from partaking in the AIESEC internship program. In any other circumstance, I will not be allowed to match with AIESEC in the future. Three copies of this acceptance note are required with original signature (1 for the organisation, 1 for AIESEC local committee and 1 for AIESEC sending committee). This acceptance note should be accompanied by four copies of the Student Contract completed, dated, and signed by the student, the Student Statement of Understanding, and any additional documentation required and specified in the Internship Job Questionnaire. If these are not included, the organisation has the right to reject the match or application for the internship. Upon receipt of this acceptance note, the organisation has a maximum of eight days in which to accept or reject this student. In the case where the organisation does not respond within 10 days, it is assumed that the organisation has rejected the student’s application. In this case, the student has the right to find another internship. In the case the organisation accepts my application, please send the company/organisation acceptance note with an official company/organisation stamp and the company/organisation representative’s signature as soon as possible with the confirmed starting and ending dates for the above internship.


Also, please send information about the required procedures to obtain a visa and work permit in your country and/or territory. In the case that the embassy or consulate only accepts an original copy of the company/organisation acceptance note to apply for a visa, please send it by mail with original stamps and signatures. If an Ep is having trouble finding funds for the internship it is suggested to write a letter asking for help in their municipalities 11 de enero de 2012 San Juan, Puerto Rico A quien pueda interesar: Soy estudiante de cuarto año de la Universidad de Puerto Rico del recinto de Rio Piedras y fui seleccionada como delegada en un programa de Internados para el Holiday center “Russkiy Les” (Russian Forest) por la organización sin fines de lucro AIESEC. Esto con el propósito de representar a la comunidad joven puertorriqueña. El mismo será realizado del 1de junio al 18 de julio de 2012 en Rusia por un periodo de siete (7) semanas. En el mismo desarrollaré mis habilidades de liderazgo y creatividad, mientras que a su vez representare a Puerto Rico como Embajadora demostrando nuestra cultura y belleza en dicho país. De esta forma, se promoverá experiencias que desarrollen el pensamiento de los jóvenes para que descubran la cultura de distintos países sin tener que salir del suyo. Actualmente curso un bachillerato en Ciencias con una concentración en Biología. Planeo graduarme en el diciembre 2012. Soy estudiante activa en la Universidad siendo parte de diversas Asociaciones que promueven nuestras habilidades y fortalecen nuestros conocimientos. Sería la primera vez en mi vida que tomaría la iniciativa de alejarme de mi hogar hacia el extranjero sin mis familiares. Todo ello, para desarrollar mis habilidades de liderazgo y alcanzar mis objetivos profesionales y personales. Considero que estoy preparada para disfrutar de una experiencia como ésta, ya que es una oportunidad que sólo se vive una vez en la vida. Viajar a Rusia a representar Puerto Rico como delegada, me llenaría de mucho orgullo y entusiasmo porque deseo que jóvenes que se encuentren en mi misma posición vean que tienen la capacidad de realizar todo aquello que se propongan para su futuro. Sin embargo, por la falta de fondos le escribo hoy para que tome en consideración mi situación. Mi participación en el Internado depende de poder recaudar una cantidad de $2000 dólares en auspicios. Esta cantidad incluiría el pasaje de ida y vuelta, tramites de visado, transportación y gastos adicionales. Por tal mencionada cantidad, solicito su cooperación para poder llevar acabo este sueño.
