Mark is an Infiltration inside an existing and abandoned building CONTINUE...

Mark is a speculative project, based on the reuse of an existing and abandoned building. Starting from the implosion in the facade at the ground floor, it's possible to climb up to the roof through the sculptural shape in corten steel, a rough and rusty material that articulates the distribution inside and it provides an added structure to the new slabs. The design goal, is the infiltration inside an existent building and it can be replicated with different forms in saturated urban contexts and in historical backgrounds. For this reason Mark is part of a larger 5

Arsia Building Infiltration

Arsia is an infiltration progects linked to an existent building CONTINUE...

Arsia is a speculative project in the urban context. Adjacent to an existing building, integrates the new office spaces and restores the use of the terrace through a new access. The key to understanding is "infiltration", as urban and architectural strategy. The composition is given by a prismatic body crossed by a sculptural black part, which collects the vertical elements of distribution in a multiple height. Arsia is the first of a series of simulations, designed for architectural episodes that frequently occur in cities and that most often remain unexpressed possibilities

as narrow street corners, abandoned buildings and so on. The infiltration allows, in compliance with the existing, a revitalization and a functional and aesthetic opportunity for the city. The meaning of the name Arsia reveals the similarity with a shield volcanic crater formed in the Tharsis region of Mars, and tells the theme of exile, turning away from the earth into space, in search of a ostentatious and new spatiality.

Eva Concept Tower

ILLUSTRATION FOR ARHITEKTON ↑

Eva is a concept tower inspired to the Egon Schiele's work CONTINUE...

Eva is a concept tower inspired by a particular work of Egon Schiele named Girl kneeling with orange-red dress, 1910. — "The twisted beautiful girl kneeling with red-orange dress (1910), which served as a model of the painter’s sister Gertrude: triangles in the orange dress and the hair collection, dug one eye that looks straight. A hand on the forehead, the other wedged behind jagged. The forms minimized, is little more than a silhouette thickened by color. Pulsing in her something hidden and restless. A long sign indicates the unusual twist"
