f you’ve ever wanted to go somewhere unique and different, D’vine Hookah Lounge is the place for you. The aroma of watermelon, pineapple and other natural fruit won’t escape your memory. Once you’ve experienced the exclusivity it has to offer and all the gourmet selections you’ll be coming back for more. The lounge, located on 445 Lincoln Road, creates a homelike comfortable atmosphere with its couches and pillows. The red tones, earthy music and Mediterranean style can easily trick your mind into believing you’ve walked into a foreign country. D’vine Hookah lounge has everything you need, including great prices. Tobacco lovers can enjoy smoking homemade tobacco mixed with real fruit and molasses. The lounge also offers Hookahs with real fruit as the base and the head of the hookah– a commodity almost unheard of in Miami. Not only can you enjoy these unique hookahs with fruit as their bases but you can also have liquor inside of the base. The lounge, offers dishes from a variety of countries as well. Owner Claudia Herman combines Venezuela, Russia, Romania, Spain and the Middle-East to feed her customers. “The best thing about my restaurant is the fresh ingredients and the love we put into it,” Herman said. Herman has a unique background with most of her heritage coming

from all the different countries mentioned. She uses old family secret recipes to maintain her business. Every plate that reaches a table is done from scratch. One of the signature dishes you must try is the D’vine Mezze. The classic Mediterranean dish includes Hummus, Babaganoosh, Tabouli, and grape leaves. Not only is the dish a treat for the palette but it’s not heavy on the pocket either. The D’Vine Mezze is a favorite because it is an appetizer that is filling and can also be easily shared amongst friends. If you’re not in the mood for something Mediterranean, you can also try her tapas, brick-oven pizzas, Panini’s and sandwiches.

You can enjoy your meal either inside of the lounge or in the outdoor setting area. With a full-service bar, the lounge also offers drinks for reasonable prices. Try the Mango Mojito, which just like its venue’s name, will end up being Divine. This exceptional drink contains fresh mango, rum and a blend of lime, mint and sugar. Mojito Connoisseurs can be rest assured that it’s the best Mojito in town. Join the belly dancers that entertain Friday and Saturday nights and dance until you feel the melody of their bells and the percussion of their Castanets. The restaurant offers happy hour and drink specials everyday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

“Our customers are from all over the world,” Herman said. “It’s a great place for all occasions.” The restaurant has a small V.I.P. Loft that can hold up to a 20-person party if you had more of an intimate idea in your mind. The loft is also used during regular hours as a small setting for Cigar smokers. The lounge offers a variety of cigars in case smoking out of a Hookah isn’t your thing. The lounge displays a large screen T.V that is clearly visible to all customers. You can even call ahead if you have a request. “I pretty much put anything on the screen according to customer demand,” Herman said.”The idea is to have top quality, good service, and to make everyone happy so they can come back.” When everything is said and done a dessert may go a long way. With D’vine’s plethora of desserts, gourmet coffee and teas, you can treat yourself to a delicious option. It would definitely put the icing on top of the cake!
