“By taking part in this project I have learnt what I need to work on in future. For example, the character strengths have highlighted what my goals are for the future. I have also learnt lots of interesting facts about Barack Obama such as the fact that he was born in Hawaii!!”

A proud moment in my life is when I helped a friend through a hard time. I gave her a place to sit at lunch and helped her find new friends, so that my friends became her friends. She now has a better time at lunch as she has people to talk to.

My vision for a better world is that people wouldn’t be afraid to talk about their feelings for mental health. People don’t talk and ask for help, so just by knowing that it’s okay to talk would make the change in how people feel. My vision is for people to feel a bit happier about themselves and life.

I’m inspired by Barack Obama because of many reasons. One of the most important reasons is his bravery. When Obama ran for President it was believed that racist comments may have been thrown at him, but he did not let these prejudiced comments stop him from achieving his goal! Another reason that I aspire to be like Barack Obama is because of his beliefs that guns should be banned in the USA. With so many killings happening every year at the hands of guns it is extremely important that we recognise this and act against it to save thousands of innocent lives. I want to live up to Obama’s belief that we can always change things that we don’t agree with. My vision for a better world is a safe place where
