and our service users for having the faith to back us as we move on to the next phase of our development.” The charity has also received grants from two other charitable trusts for on-going projects. Firstly, The Anna Maria Charitable Trust granted £30,000 over three years for the “Fit, Fun, Food and Friendship Project” to ensure elderly and vulnerable people in the area have access to sports and leisure facilities, days out across Yorkshire and the north of England and lunch outings.

Andy added: “This in turn will encourage new friendships, social inclusion to take place and will have a positive impact on health and wellbeing. We really are extremely grateful to the grant funders and charitable trusts that have supported us and allowed us to continue offering our services to those most in need within our community.” For more information on the service Goole GoFar offers, please call the office on 01405 780 344. Secondly, The Brelms Trust granted funding of £14,600 to help GoFar fund projects over the next three years. The projects planned will include theatre outings, afternoon tea trips and other cultural events.
