Survivin’ the Ride: Party on the Island Highlights The Economic Alliance Events Team has been working diligently as a part of the Cedar Rapids RAGBRAI committee to plan a fantastic schedule of events for riders and the public, especially RAGBRAI’s 40th Celebration Concert on July 26. While this is an exciting weekend filled with community pride, our local business community will have an opportunity to shine for an estimated 15,000 riders and patrons. VOLUNTEER More than 1,100 volunteers are needed to help in Cedar Rapids when RAGBRAI is in town on July 26 and 27, 2012. Interested individuals or groups may select from a variety of volunteer areas, including camp grounds, downtown concert venue, food and beverage garden, trash and recycling, information booths, Breakfast on the Bridge and more.
