Who Is Jesus? There are three deities in one supernatural person. God, the Father—God, the Son—and God, the Holy Spirit equaling one person, GOD. Jesus is the Son of God—Jesus is God. Over 2,000 years ago. God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to us; He was both 100% fully man AND 100% fully God. He related to us and us to Him. He became one of us humbly. So why did he come? Because God knew we were going to mess up right from the start, He had the plan of our salvation already made. To send Jesus, who knew no sin to be sin, our sin, to be a sacrifice and die a physical death, to take our punishment upon himself. His blood bought us our salvation. So that anyone who believes in their heart and says with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior will be saved. That means God has adopted us as sons and daughters. He is our Father, and we will get to spend eternity with Him.

Now. Let this sink in. We are children of the KING OF THE UNIVERSE. Jesus died, nailed to the cross. His body was placed in a tomb, and a boulder stone rolled in front of it. Three days later, some women went to check the tomb. The boulder was aside, and the tomb EMPTY. He wasn’t there! Because, as it is written, death could not hold Him, He rose from the dead. 7 Bible Verses To Reflect On Why He Came And Why He Matters “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV) “For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.” Luke 19:10 (NIV) “In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. And the word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him, all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:1-5 (NIV)
