Enterprise file sync and share (EFSS) specialist Syncplicity is showcasing its latest sharing and collaboration offerings and capabilities. Participating along with its regional distributor, Bulwark Technologies, the company is
making its debut at GITEX after separating from EMC in 2015. According to Syncplicity Executive Vice President for Worldwide Sales Jan Jensen, the company focused on developing solutions that can help organisations seamlessly and securely share files and folders with trusted organisations, while maintaining control over the digital data flowing between them and avoiding data leakage to nontrusted entities. “Today’s digital workers are often collaborating across a number of different teams with whom they need to share documents with. Now, with security becoming a ver y crucial issue organisations are always looking for ways to make the data management and sharing process seamless and secure,” he says.
Jensen also highlights the increasing number of threats surrounding the IT landscape. “While there’s still no ‘definite’ way to fully prevent these attacks, setting up the right systems and solutions in place can ensure that organisations can cope and recover in case an attack occurs.
