Revolutionary GM Gen V Camshafts from COMP Cams® are designed to work with the direct injection, VVT (Variable Valve Timing) and AFM (Active Fuel Management) lifters featured in GM’s Gen V (LT1/L83/L86) V8 engine. This means that these XFI™ series hydraulic roller cams allow users to leverage the OE technology for performance gains. Gen V cams feature four different lobe profiles to both create AFM compatibility and optimize intake and exhaust valve opening/closing events. COMP Cams® GM Gen V Camshafts also increase torque and horsepower throughout the entire RPM range, while providing excellent responsiveness and mid-range power over stock for across-the-board gains. These cams must have the COMP Phaser Limiter Kit (Part #5456), which limits the range of camshaft movement from 62 to 22 crank degrees thus requiring VVT program tuning. COMP Cams® GM Gen V Camshafts are available for stock to highly modified applications. The smaller cams are an ideal choice for L83 and L86 truck engines, while the larger versions are perfect for high performance LT1 applications. ®

GM Gen V (LT1/L83/L86) Sportsman Tool Steel Camshafts COMP Cams® tool steel cam core technology, widely seen in NASCAR, NHRA and other professional race engines, is now available for GM Gen V (LT1/L83/L86) applications. Tool steel is 30 percent stronger than the SAE 5150 or SAE 8620 cam cores typically used for LS camshafts. It allows the use of more aggressive profiles on both the direct injection (DI) fuel pump lobe and the cam lobes. The size and shape of the DI lobe is customizable to support more horsepower over the OEM design (see fuel pump lobe options below). The polygonal designs are available with three, four or five “throws” per revolution. The four-lobe option can be advanced or retarded to properly phase with the injector timing to maximize flow, reduce pressure fluctuations and minimize fuel bypass. COMP Cams® tool steel cam cores are through-hardened, meaning that engine builders can choose virtually any combination of duration, lift, lobe separation and advance. They are superior to the traditional hardened surface of either induction-hardened or carburized steel cam cores. GM Gen V (LT1/L83/L86) Sportsman Tool Steel Camshafts are available with or without Active Fuel Management (AFM). Call for assistance in selecting the right tool steel cam for your application.

Sportsman Lifters from COMP Cams® are designed to be a premium and lighter weight upgrade over Endure-X™ Lifters and a value alternative to the Elite Race™ option. Sportsman Lifters are offered in two configurations: a traditional needle bearing axle/wheel design or an optional bronze bushing axle/wheel setup. Each design features two pressurized EDM oil feeds to the axle, along with an edge orifice feed to the wheel. This design delivers a more reliable oil feed than most other options on the market. Sportsman Lifters also feature a shallower oil band than competitors’ versions for increased strength and rigidity, while internal machining helps to reduce weight.

The body design utilizes a skirted wheel that strengthens the lifter ears and also provides more contact area with the lifter bore for further lifter stability. In addition, staked axles eliminate clips and provide robust axle retention. This permanent axle retention feature increases the stiffness of the lifter ears and helps prevent the ears from spreading. Sportsman Lifters are built from 8620 premium steel for increased strength and wear resistance and feature a captured, stainless steel link bar design. They utilize a tapered and slotted link bar tower for reduced weight and improved aesthetics. The lifters also feature a tall body to enable use in both standard and .300" tall lifter bores – the result is increased strength and less lifter bore wear. COMP Cams® Sportsman Lifters are currently available for Small and Big Block Chevy, Small Block Ford and Big Block Chrysler/Hemi applications, with more applications coming soon.

NEW PRODUCTS Dual Taper 7/16", .165" Wall Pushrods
Dual Taper 7/16", .165" Wall Pushrods from COMP Cams® are designed with the middle of the pushrod being larger in diameter than the two ends. The extra clearance at the top and the bottom offers the benefits of a large, 7/16" pushrod combined with clearance of a 3/8" option for a higher-flowing intake port. The pushrods are also tapered to clear the top of most offset roller lifters. Both 5/16" ball ends have a 210˚ radius to provide additional clearance to the rocker arm adjuster at peak lift. The thicker .165"wall is stiffer and stronger than previous .125" wall offerings, thereby providing more accurate valve motion and durability. The pushrods are made in the U.S.A. from one-piece, heat-treated 4130 chromemoly steel tubing, which makes them stronger than most pushrods on the market today.
Straight 7/16", .165" Wall Pushrods COMP Cams® Straight 7/16", .165" Wall Pushrods incorporate technology that was originally developed for NASCAR and NHRA race engines. Pushrods in many of these applications experience impact loads of up to 7500 lbs., meaning the incorrect one can cause catastrophic failure. The additional stiffness and higher natural frequency of a 7/16" diameter pushrod is a significant advantage in any application that has ample intake port and lifter clearance. The main bodies of these pushrods feature a straight 7/16" O.D. that tapers down to a 210˚ radius, 5/16" ball end. The radii on each end provide additional clearance for the rocker adjuster at high lift and allow the pushrods to be installed either “up” or “down.” The pushrods have a consistent .165" wall thickness, even in the tapered ends, which is thicker, stiffer and stronger than common .080" or .125" wall designs. These pushrods are made in the USA from heat-treated, one-piece chromemoly tubing, which is much stronger than typical 1000 series steels and will better handle extreme valve train setups.

Programmable and custom-tunable Engine Control System to fill the gap between EZ-EFI 2.0® and XFI 2.0™
Designed for muscle car, late model street and sportsman drag racing engines, along with boosted and individual runner throttle body applications, the FAST™ XFI Sportsman™ Engine Control System is a bank-to-bank, fully software-tunable EFI setup. It requires a laptop for tuning and uses FAST™ C-Com® software, which comes packaged along with the necessary USB connectivity cable. The system offers both load-indexed Speed Density or Alpha-N fuel strategies; most users will use Speed Density but the Alpha-N option is specifically added to serve Sportsman drag racers looking for absolute consistency. The FAST™ XFI Sportsman™ System features full tables to monitor fueling, acceleration fuel, timing and air/fuel targets. A user-configurable auxiliary input channel and full function data logging is also included. It supports both naturally aspirated and boosted applications up to 5 bar, is compatible with wet nitrous and has timing retard control. Built-in CAN network support for the EZ-TCU™, EZ-LS™, XIM™ and eDash means users can easily plug and play those components with the included CAN wire. Big Mouth LT Throttle Bodies™ from FAST™ are a cost-effective option to the original billet Big Mouth Throttle Body™ and are available for GM LS, Ford Coyote and Chrysler Hemi applications. The 92mm LSX™ version is the perfect choice for a variety of LS applications, while the 87mm throttle body is built specifically for Ford Coyote and Chrysler Hemi engines. Each 4-bolt style throttle body features black-wrinkle powder coating and all of the same features as FAST™ billet throttle bodies. The enlarged bore on each component is a substantial upgrade over stock and allows increased airflow to support higher horsepower. A progressive throttle pulley enhances drivability, especially at low throttle, while a double return spring provides solid feel and increased reliability. A FAST™ Big Mouth LT Throttle Body™ is necessary for XFI™ and EZ-EFI® (or other aftermarket EFI customers) running an engine that was originally throttle-by-wire. Electronic Fuel Pressure Kit The Electronic Fuel Pressure Kit from FAST™ serves three functions. First, it provides electronic fuel pressure measurement capability in an easy and affordable kit. This means it obtains an accurate and instantaneous fuel pressure measurement that can be used to improve fuel delivery accuracy and provide an accurate signal for data acquisition. Next, the kit offers OEM reliability by including a GM OEM sensor designed to function and remain durable in the engine compartment at a cost that is less than other existing pressure sensors on the market. Finally, the kit provides a complete plug-and-play solution by including a billet aluminum mounting block, spacer and mounting hardware for easy connection. Other notable kit features include two -8 to -6 AN fittings and a plug-and-play harness for easy hook-up to an XFI™ system. Building off the success of their bolt-together torque converters for GM 6L80 transmissions, TCI® engineers have now developed a complete line of Bolt-Together Converters for the 4L60E transmission from GM. These triple-disc lock-up converters feature an increase in stall speed over stock options, thereby increasing torque multiplication and allowing the engine to get into its powerband sooner. The result is improved vehicle launch and overall performance. Integrating the same patent-pending technology found on the 6L80 versions, the 4L60E Bolt-Together Torque Converters seamlessly apply the unit’s triple-disc lock-up clutch, even during wide open throttle. The high torque capacity lock-up clutch features friction material specifically tailored to the most demanding applications while preserving drivability. The converters are hand-assembled to precise tolerances and feature both hand tig-brazed impellers and fully furnace-brazed turbines for maximum strength. Each unit is HDT™-coated to prevent corrosion and help dissipate heat, while also undergoing the legendary TCI® Triple Testing process. And thanks to the bolt-together design, stall changes and service of frictions and bearings can be performed at home. There is no need to send the unit back to TCI®. The cleverly engineered bolt-together design, in conjunction with several available gear ratios, makes this the most versatile planetary unit for every racing configuration. GM 6L80 Bolt-Together Race Torque Converter
Built specifically for the punishing environments of high horsepower LS engines
With a fully furnace-brazed turbine and CNC-machined billet design, the GM 6L80 Bolt-Together Race Torque Converters from TCI® are engineered specifically for serious racers that require a torque converter with the utmost in strength and quality. They are designed for extreme power, easy stall speed changes and consistent performance. The race version requires a custom tuned TCU/PCM, but the street version does not require tuning. Benefits include a triple-disc clutch with significantly higher torque capacity and much higher clamping force than a single-disc design, while they also have the ability to fully lock up under wide open throttle so there is little or no high-gear slippage. Even though these converters are designed as “race only” parts with special tuning, they can be used in many high horsepower and modified vehicles when a single-disc converter simply won’t withstand the power. Featured along with the high torque capacity, triple-disc, woven carbon fiber friction lock-up clutch is a 50-spline clutch hub, meaning the horsepower capacity of these converters is second to none. The bolt-together CNC billet design permits users to easily set the optimum stall speed for his or her application without sending it back to TCI®. When the stall is properly matched to the torque curve of the engine, the launch and overall performance of the vehicle will be greatly increased. The bolt-together design also enables quick disassembly to allow inspection and service of bearings and lock-up components at home or at the track. And like all TCI® torque converters, each unit undergoes the legendary TCI® Triple Testing process and is HDT™-coated to prevent corrosion and help dissipate heat. Description

RACING HEAD serv Pro Elite™ 307cc Big Port LS7 CNC-Ported Cylinder Heads Big engines make big power, but often cylinder heads don’t provide the necessary flow characteristics for large power plants. RHS® Pro Elite™ Big Port LS7 Cylinder Heads solve this problem. They are the only raised runner aftermarket LS7 heads with the runner volume to support large cubic inch applications, yet are still able to utilize both production and aftermarket intake manifolds and valve trains. Intake ports are raised .220" from the stock location for a straight line of sight to the cylinder. The heads feature a .750" thick deck surface and reinforced rocker rails, which make them perfect for high horsepower and boosted applications. They work well with all existing LS7 parts but have bigger intake ports and valves than the standard RHS® Pro Elite™ LS7 Cylinder Heads. They feature the popular 6-bolt design, making them compatible with the RHS® LS Race Block, GM LSX block and OEM GM LS blocks. These aluminum, CNC-ported heads feature a 307cc intake runner, 98cc exhaust runner and 69cc chamber volume. The intake valve is 2.250" x 5/16", while the exhaust valve is 1.615" x 8mm. RHS® Pro Elite™ Big Port LS7 Cylinder Heads are designed for larger cubic inch, all-out race engines but are also ideal for 454-502c.i. LS street engines. Description

Pro Elite™ 3.900" Bore LS7 CNC-Ported Cylinder Heads RHS® Pro Elite™ 3.900" Bore LS7 Cylinder Heads not only get the best LS rectangular port heads onto all GM LS 5.7-6.0L blocks, they also provide up to 100 bolt-on horsepower over stock and feature all of the benefits of other RHS® LS7 heads. These cylinder heads fit all LS applications down to the stock 3.900" bore and utilize LS7 intake manifolds. Offered in both CNC-port and P-Port (unfinished runner) versions, the heads’ intake ports are raised .220" from the stock location for a straight line of sight into the cylinder, and utilize the LS 6-bolt head design compatible with both the RHS® LS Race Block and GM LSX Block. They can also be used with OEM, 4-bolt blocks. Additionally, a .750"- thick deck surface and reinforced rocker rails make for more rigidity in high horsepower and boosted applications.
