About us Cowhide Western Furniture Co. is located in Denton, Texas and provides quality custom wood and leather furniture. Our craftsmen have over 20 years experience. It is our mission to make it easy and enjoyable to create your own unique piece of quality leather or rustic furniture for your home. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to provide quality European leathers and cowhides for you to choose from and combine these with solid hardwood frames and a cutting edge suspension system designed especially for the leather furniture industry. Whether you are furnishing a small rustic home or a large western ranch, commercial or residential, we are here to make the best custom furniture.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Payments

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Every piece of leather furniture is covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty which protects you for a lifetime against manufacturer’s defects on the hardwood frame and suspension system. Our superior leathers are covered for 5 years against defective dye-lots, cracking and peeling. The wooden furniture (bedroom pieces, dining pieces, etc.) are not covered by a warranty by the manufacturer. However, a limited warranty may be purchased at the time of order.

Your order must be paid in full before beginning production. If you would like to apply for a payment plan or layaway, please speak with a sales representative. Even if a payment plan is applied to your order, all orders must be paid in full before production will begin. All freight charges must be paid in full prior to shipping or pick up. Failure to comply will result in all deposits/ payments being forfeited. The furniture must ship out/pick up within 7 days of completion. Storage fees of $15/day will be applied to orders that must be stored in the warehouse for more than 7 days.

Please remember that all of our furniture is custom made, therefore, we do not stock any furniture in the warehouse. Because of this, we do not accept any cancellations once materials have been ordered, leather has been cut, and/or pieces have been stained/painted. Please take the time to make your decision carefully. Refunds will be given only in the instance of mistakes of color, leather or placement made by the manufacturing factory.

Frames To ensure the highest quality and durability of our furniture, we use solid wood for our handcrafted frames. All wood pieces are reinforced and the frames are glued together with industrial wood glue before fastening the frame togehter. All cavities of the frame are fully covered with chipboard material (yes, even in the places you cannot see or sit). This addition creates a longlasting and sturdy piece of furniture.

Seating High endurance seating that is comfortable is top priority for our furniture. In keeping your client’s furniture secure and longlasting, our company refuses to use spring support systems. This type of support system will damage not only the seat cushion, but it will ruin the high quality, genuine leather that we use. Instead, we use a high suspension webbing system to ensure the endurance and comfortabillity of your client’s furniture. This type of suspension, in combination with our strong, hardwood frames, allows your clients furniture to last across decades. The cushion itself is a high density foam, created specifically for our line of furniture. Your client will have the ability to choose a level of firm, regular, or down top to meet their comfort needs.

Leather Our company only uses the highest qualities of top & full grain leathers from Europe and South America. This factor will give both you and your client confidence in the overall quality of the furniture. Top-grain comes from the outermost layer of the hide. Top-grain leather can be used in its most natural form, and requires minimal procesing. Because top-grain is the most durable leather, if properly cared for, it should last indefinitely.
