Kiwanis Coweta County Fair set to celebrate 75th Anniversary From Staff Reports Everyone’s favorite family-fun event makes its return to Coweta County this week. That’s right, the 75th Anniversary Celebration of the Kiwanis Coweta County Fair begins on Thursday, September 14. The 11-day event will take place at the Coweta County Fairgrounds and Conference Center in Newnan, located at 755 Pine Road. Proceeds from the Fair are distributed within the local community as grants to dozens of organizations who share Kiwanis’ dedication to serving the children of the world. Since 2000, Newnan Kiwanis has donated $4,600,000 to the charities of Coweta County from the Fair’s proceeds. People attending this year’s Fair will experience the same types of games, rides, contests, animal and livestock exhibits, arts and crafts, live music, food and fun they’ve come to expect through the years.
