An evening with
Graeme Obree Come and hear Graeme Obree’s incredible story at the Coventry Cycling Festival 2010
Hear how Graeme broke the world mile record, won world individual pursuit championships during the 1990s and how he revolutionised cycling with his inventive genius. Graeme’s story is an inspirational one, fighting personal difficulties and the cycling establishment to achieve his goals. Chris Hoy, Britain’s current World and Olympic Cycling Champion, said of Graeme:
"I found Graeme Obree to be an inspirational figure when I was just starting out. His life is like a Hollywood film, but one that you would find unbelievable if you watched it in the cinema." Graeme will be giving a talk on the evening of Friday June 4th 2010 at Coventry Transport Museum, starting at 7.30pm
On Thursday 3rd June 2010 the Museum will be showing the feature film of Graeme’s life, ‘The Flying Scotsman’, starting at 7.30pm, free of charge. So don’t miss this unique opportunity to see the film and then meet the man himself the next day.
Tickets to see Graeme are £5.
If you want to come to both evenings lets us know when you book your ticket. There are a limited number of tickets so they will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
