Dear Members,

As we transition to fall, I want to take a moment to reflect on the past season we have shared together. We are excited to bring back what was once a staple of Crow Valley Golf Club, the monthly newsletter, “As the Crow Flies.” This past season was a celebration of our community, camaraderie and the vibrant lifestyle that defines our club Our newsletter gives us the opportunity to share our happenings and highlights with all of you

Highlights of the past few months include Ladies Pickleball Member Guest, Flamingo and Fizz, The Waitlist and our Halloween Bash. These events, and many others, brought members together in ways that remind us why Crow Valley is such a great place to belong. These memories and experiences are developed through our dedicated team and supportive members I am proud of the experiences we have put together from this season.

Looking ahead, we have a lineup of events to close out the year and welcome the very active 2026 season These gatherings are more than just dates on a calendar they’re opportunities to connect, celebrate, and contribute to the legacy we are building together I encourage every member to find at least one event to attend and try to connect with other members. As we look ahead to the clubhouse remodel much of what we are doing is with the intent to give our members more opportunity to gather and connect with each other in our refreshed and redefined spaces. I will highlight more of the developing project in the next newsletter.

As we prepare for the cooler months, I’m filled with optimism for what lies ahead. Our management team is actively working toward an improved 2026 season. With your continued support and engagement, we are poised to grow stronger, more vibrant, and more united than before. This week our clubhouse team is traveling to visit high end Midwest clubs and grow as a team. In the month of February, our F&B staff will be redefining and learning about our improved service plan. Our entire team is dedicated to delivering on our vision statement:

Crow Valley will be the premier club in the region, with a vibrant membership, modern facilities, and a reputation for delivering exceptional golf, dining, and social experiences, supported by outstanding personal service and a strong sense of Community.

Thank you for your continued support of our team. We look forward to the seasons ahead and the memories yet to be made.

Why are men not allowed to wear hats in our dining rooms?

This tradition dates back to medieval times when knights removed helmets to show respect, peace and vulnerability This evolved into a broader western social custom where men are expected to remove hats in homes, churches and more formal settings This practice is meant to maintain an atmosphere of formality and respect during our clubs’ social interactions and fine dining experiences
