Narrative On 10/22/2012 at 6:56am I responded to 703 Plantation Cir in reference to a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival I made contact with the victim, Chastity Fowler-Lee, at which time I learned there had been a physical altercation. Chastity had redness around her neck, as well as small abrasions on both sides of her neck. She also had several scratches on the back of her neck. Chastity had dirt all over the back of her clothing and arms. Chastity was reluctant to speak with us at first, but I advised her we were on scene due to her calling. When I first pulled up, I observed a black male exiting a vehicle wearing blue shorts, with no shirt on. I asked him if everything was alright, and he stated yes and then hurriedly went into the house and slammed the door. Chastity stated she and the male, Jayson Lee, were married. She further advised they were involved in an argument earlier in the evening, so she left the residence for a few hours. Chastity told me when she arrived back home, they began fighting again. She told me this time it took place outside in the driveway. Chastity said during the altercation, Jayson grabbed her by the throat and threw her down on the ground. He then got on top of her, and began choking her with both hands. Chastity stated she began to feel as if she were going to pass out. She further stated she was in a well founded fear for her safety. Chastity's injuries were consistent with her statement. The dirt on her clothes was also consistent with being her being on the ground. Chastity told me Jayson got up, and she ran inside and called 911. I made contact with Jayson inside, and learned he had put on a pair of jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. I asked Jayson about the incident, and he stated he did not know what happened. At that time, I placed Jayson under arrest for the offense of Domestic Battery by Strangulation. Jayson was transported to the Bay County Jail without further incident. Dep. Dentamaro took pictures of Chastity's injuries, and also took a sworn taped statement from her as well. These items were included in the case file.

THE LISTED ADDRESS IN REFERENCE TO AN ATTEMPTED BURGLARY. UPON ARRIVAL I MADE CONTACT WITH DARRYL SPENCER WHO STATED THAT SOMEONE HAD ATTEMPTED TO BREAK INTO HIS STORAGE UNIT. I WENT TO UNIT 85 AND OBSERVED A LOCK ON THE GROUND AND BURN MARKS ON A SECOND LOCK WHICH WAS STILL IN PLACE ON THE MECHANISM. THERE WERE ALSO BURN MARKS ON THE MECHANISM AND THE ADJOINING WALL WHERE IT APPEARED THAT SOMEONE HAD USED AN ACETYLENE TORCH IN AN ATTEMPT TO BREAK INTO THE UNIT.
