Easter Sculpture Festival promises great things The Easter Sculpture festival at University of Bristol Botanic Garden has become a favourite for families, as well as art and Garden lovers, with the plants in the botanic garden beginning to stir, flower arriving around every corner and leaves beginning to burst on trees and shrubs. The festival runs from Good Friday, 4th April, 10am until Easter Monday, 17th April at 5pm. There is another impressive line up of really fantastic sculptors this year. One of the stars will be Lucianne Lassalle, the Paris born sculptor who now lives in Bristol. Her aunt was one of Picasso’s muses so she has a fantastic artistic heritage. There is also Philippa Macarthur for the first time. Her ceramics will be adding an extra dimension to the Evolutionary Dell. www.bristol.ac.uk
