Bear Family Tea Cosy
with Beth Allen A beary warm tea cosy to keep your teapot warm! This tea cosy features a cute family of bears during a day in their lives – playing and working in the garden around the house. There are lots of little scenes and room for you to personalise the tea cosy in your own way. Simple embroidery techniques and appliquÊ work are used to create a garden of flowers, a cast-on stitch snail, ribbon roses, a beehive and cute little bears. Kit cost: $100.00 Level: Intermediate Kit will include most of the fabrics and threads to complete the tea cosy.

Mountmellick embroidery is textured, floral whitework from Ireland. Traditionally it uses many knotted and padded stitches. The class project is a doily featuring honeysuckle and dog rose motifs. The unique knitted fringe, that is characteristic of Mountmellick embroidery, will be demonstrated in class.
